  • Take out all the receipts, bills, invoices, reports and important correspondence from their cardboard boxes and envelopes and file them and deal with them systematically
  • Enter everything into MYOB or spreadsheets and prepare the quarterly IAS and BAS ready to hand over to the accountant for final adjustments
  • Send out purchase orders and prepare a list of which bills need to be paid and when, and if required access online banking and make whatever payments are necessary.
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Check status of insurances, superannuation and all other annual tasks
  • Automate and streamline as many tasks as possible

This leaves the client free to concentrate on the part of the business they know and enjoy the most – the selling to and servicing of their own customers.

Website and promotional editing and proofreading and preparation of executive correspondence

  • A good command of the English language and my well-rounded education enables me to go through the client’s material to edit and improve the spelling, grammar and syntax. This is especially valuable to those people of Non English Speaking Background who are setting up businesses in Australia.

This allows the business owner to present a professional image to their clients, both in the printed material, and, more importantly, on their website – frequently the first point of contact between the business and the customer.

When taking on a client, I will go to their premises for an initial consultation to establish the scope of work to ensure that I can offer them what it is that they require.
